In 1982, Robert and Marilyn Leslie began their irrigation business as a Lockwood dealership. By 1994, they switched dealerships to Reinke.  By 2009, Robert and Marilyn sold the business to their two sons Paul and Josh Leslie.

Today, Spalding Irrigation is owned and operated by Paul Leslie.
